High production 4-post band sawmill: easily exceeds 4,000 board feet per day, heavy built at 10,000 lbs with heavy duty double roller bearings that rarely if ever need replacing, mounted on 3-axle trailer (one removable) with 6 leveling jacks, 75 HP Perkins diesel engine with hydraulic clutch, movable remote operator station with 12 volt electrical panel control and 30' cable, handles logs 36" diameter x 24' length, can saw as small as 32" logs, runs 2" bands, can change bands in a few minutes. Includes 4 hydraulic stops 28" apart for short log sawing, 2 hydraulic log clamps, hydraulic log turner, hydraulic log loader with 3rd arm for loading short logs and attached hydraulic winch with 100' of cable to pull logs to the sawmill, hydraulic toe boards with multi-position drive rollers, hydraulic log drag back with switch to move forks away from the lumber when not needed, hydraulic debarker. Three separate options are available to run the hydraulics: directly off the Perkins power unit or 12-volt off the Perkins power unit or 220V off local electrical connection with 50' of line. Customized features include setworks option for slow sawhead lowing for precision sawing, Variable pressure spring tensioning, Automatic sawhead travel stop with limit switch to stop the cut at the end of the log, not the end of the carriage, 12-volt top and bottom of the blade lubrication system with felt wiper, and crane with cable and rollers for offloading logs off a truck. Crane can be installed and uninstalled by one man in 5-minutes. Must remove the crane before sawing. Outfeed system consists of hydraulic offloading drive rollers to move cut boards to 30' long 36" gravity roll outfeed conveyor. EXTRAS include a few thousand dollars of extra parts: hoses, bearings, couplers, sprockets, hydraulic pumps and power unit, bearings, switches and panels, gear reduction units, components to build a live infeed deck. Also includes custom built water cooled blade automatic sharpener with fine adjustment with torch to temper the blade and automatic dual tooth setter.
