Peterson Dedicated Wide Slabbing Mill. Capable of sawing logs 62" in diameter and up to 19 feet long. 27hp Kohler gas engine. Sawmill uses a skip-5 ripping chain, for making smooth cuts down the length of the log. Long cutting teeth allow for many chain re-sharpenings. Chain is manufactured by Oregon. Aluminum rails allow for easy movement and setup. The sawhead has detachable wheels that are added to facilitate moving the sawhead from one location to another. This flexibility allows the operator to set the mill up around a large log rather than bringing the mill to the log.
