Precision Cut

Location: New Brunswick Precision Cut Circular Scragg Mill. 48" dia blades with cutting capability up to 20" dia log. The mill was installed new in 2000 and used seasonally to saw eastern white cedar up until the business closed in 2011. The mill comes with a 20' power log deck, it is all hydraulic log turner, through feed, and preset widths of 4"6",8"10". Each 48" blade has a 40 HP 600 volt motor. The pump is 10 HP, in feed is 2HP and slab belts are 2 hp. The mill has through put capacity of 15,000 FBM per shift but was never run at capacity as that exceeded market demand for this operation. The mill comes with all electrical panels and wiring.
